In a dramatic escalation of a recent church controversy, actress-turned-evangelist Eucharia Anunobi has publicly threatened to sue Apostle Psalm Okpe, the founder of Fresh Oil Ministry International Church, who was once her spiritual mentor and the cleric who ordained her.
The conflict erupted from a leaked audio recording that circulated widely online. In the clip, Okpe and another pastor, identified as Martins, are heard making explicit and unverified claims about their personal histories with several church figures.
During the conversation, the two men boasted of having past sexual relationships with Anunobi and another church leader, Chikere Nwafor. The discussion also included unfounded allegations of homosexuality against a separate male pastor.
In a forceful response, Anunobi has firmly denied Okpe's specific claim that he dated her for five years. She has declared her intention to pursue legal action for defamation, stating that the allegations are malicious and designed to tarnish her reputation and ministry.
