In a painful and bewildering personal account, a man has shared how his six-year marriage unraveled after his wife confessed to multiple infidelities—only to later leave home unexpectedly and announce a pregnancy, culminating in a shocking message intended for someone else.
The husband, who we will call Solomon, stated that he and his wife, Ifedayo, had lived together as a married couple for six years. According to him, the crisis began in June of last year when she admitted to an affair with a neighbor.
“I asked her directly how many men she had been with while living as my wife,” Solomon recounted. “She broke down in tears and confessed to fifteen different men, all while residing in our home.”
Devastated but seeking closure, Solomon pressed for a full confession, promising forgiveness. He says his wife then swore on the Bible never to cheat again, invoking biblical curses upon herself if she broke that vow.
However, the reconciliation was short-lived. That very week, Solomon says his wife left home abruptly, changing her story from attending a friend’s wedding to being away for several days without clear communication. Not long after, she sent him a message revealing she was pregnant.
The situation grew even more convoluted when Solomon was summoned by his mother-in-law. She showed him a text message on his wife’s phone that read: “Hello, Wale I will suffer you with the baby that I am carrying. When I give birth, you will not have access to the child.”
The message directed at “Wale” left Solomon stunned. “My name is Solomon,” he emphasized. “We were talking about a ‘Wale’ I knew nothing about.”
The confession, broken vow, sudden departure, pregnancy announcement, and misdirected message have combined to create a tragic puzzle for Solomon.
