Israeli Military Reports Strikes on Hezbollah Infrastructure in Lebanon

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have confirmed carrying out a series of airstrikes in Lebanon targeting multiple Hezbollah sites, including a weapons-production facility, arms depots, and rocket launchers.

According to a military statement, the strikes were launched in response to intelligence indicating the sites were being used to prepare attacks against Israel. The IDF described the activities at these locations as a violation of ceasefire understandings between the two countries.

“These sites were being used to advance terror attacks against the State of Israel and IDF soldiers,” the statement read.

The operation, which officials said was conducted with precision, aimed to dismantle critical components of Hezbollah’s military infrastructure—specifically rocket launchers capable of striking Israeli territory and storage facilities for weapons and manufacturing materials.

The military emphasized that the action was defensive in nature, intended to disrupt Hezbollah’s operational capabilities and prevent future attacks on Israeli civilians and soldiers.

In its warning, the IDF affirmed its commitment to defending Israel's northern border and stated that any further violations of the ceasefire would be met with a swift and decisive response. The strikes mark a continued period of heightened tension along the Lebanon-Israel frontier.
