In a recent television interview, the woman involved in a public confrontation with popular content creator Peller has broken her silence, labeling his behavior as "immature" and detailing the severe emotional toll of the subsequent online harassment.
The incident, which occurred earlier this month at a restaurant, began when the woman, who wishes to remain anonymous, asked Peller to lower his volume during a livestream. The encounter quickly escalated and was broadcast to his audience.
During her interview with TVC, the woman revealed she was unaware of Peller's online fame at the time of the confrontation. "I was very ignorant of who he was. I did not know he was a social media personality," she stated. She described the backlash that followed as deeply distressing, citing an influx of threatening messages.
She further accused Peller of actively encouraging his followers to target her, claiming he sent a broadcast message instructing people to verbally abuse her if seen in public. This, she says, significantly amplified her fear and distress.
When questioned by the interviewer about potential financial motives for coming forward, the woman firmly denied seeking any compensation. "No," she responded. "I want to bring awareness to cyberbullying and harassment. It shouldn't be normalized."
Her primary goal, she emphasized, is to highlight the real-world impact of online pile-ons and the misuse of influence. "I think he's just very immature," she said of Peller. "The messages, the threats; it was traumatizing."
The interview has reignited discussions about the responsibilities of content creators and the lasting psychological effects of cyber-harassment on individuals who unexpectedly become the focus of online outrage.
