A young American artist visiting Nigeria has claimed he was harassed by police officers in Benin City, marking the third such incident since his arrival in the country.
The artist shared a live video of the confrontation, alleging that he and his team were stopped by officers while filming. According to his account, there was no apparent issue with their vehicle, and the police did not provide a clear reason for the intervention. When questioned, an officer reportedly stated that the police had the right to stop them but still offered no explanation.
The artist described the encounter as harassment and expressed frustration over the repeated experiences during his visit. The video has since circulated online, drawing attention to concerns about police conduct.
