Actress Annie Macaulay recently insisted on a public correction when a Lagos club displayed an LED welcome banner addressing her as "Annie Idibia"—the surname of her estranged husband, music star Innocent "Tuface" Idibia.
In videos shared on her Instagram Stories, Macaulay and her friends are seen pointing out the error on the banner, which initially read "Welcome Annie Idibia." A friend posted the clip with the caption, "No Idibia," which Macaulay later reshared with the remark, "Hummm."
A subsequent video shows club staff promptly updating the display to correctly read, "Welcome Annie Macaulay." The actress shared the corrected version with the simple but firm approval: "Correct."
The incident highlights Macaulay's public reassertion of her maiden name following her separation from Idibia.
