The Canadian province of Newfoundland and Labrador will hold a virtual immigration and recruitment event on Wednesday, February 11, aimed at connecting skilled foreign workers with local employers.
The online session, scheduled from 18:00 to 22:00 GMT, is open to candidates worldwide and forms part of the province’s efforts to attract international talent. Employers from across Newfoundland and Labrador will present job openings and discuss support available for relocation and settlement.
Interested participants are encouraged to register in advance and upload their résumés, which will be shared with hiring companies in the province. According to the official provincial website, the event is designed to help skilled workers “build a career and a home in Canada.”
This initiative follows ongoing recruitment drives by several Canadian provinces seeking to address local labor shortages through foreign talent.
