Following Uganda's 3-1 loss to Nigeria in the Africa Cup of Nations, striker Uche Ikpeazu has revealed he will be supporting the Super Eagles to win the tournament.
Ikpeazu, who is of half-Nigerian descent, described the match as the most challenging of his career. "It’s the hardest game of my career," he stated, acknowledging Nigeria's superior performance and expressing his team's aspiration to reach that level.
When asked which team he would back for the title, Ikpeazu did not hesitate: “I’ll be supporting Nigeria.”
The result confirmed Nigeria's place in the Round of 16 and ended Uganda's campaign in the group stage.
