Former Nigeria Captain William Troost-Ekong Completes Transfer to Qatari Side Al Ahli SC

Former Super Eagles captain and defender William Troost-Ekong has officially joined Al Ahli Sports Club in Qatar. The 32-year-old moves from Saudi Arabian club Al Kholood.

Troost-Ekong brings considerable experience from top European leagues and a distinguished international career with Nigeria, having been a key figure in multiple Africa Cup of Nations tournaments.

He has signed a contract with Al Ahli that runs until June 2028. The transfer was initially reported by journalist Eric Shammah.
