A Nigerian businesswoman identified as Joke has publicly thanked music producer and philanthropist Don Jazzy for his generous support, which she says enabled her to relocate to the United Kingdom.
Joke first interacted with Don Jazzy in May 2025 during one of his social media giveaways. After commenting on his post, she was selected to receive ₦1 million. Upon noticing that her account balance was only ₦67 prior to the transfer, Don Jazzy humorously pointed out the modest amount and unexpectedly sent her an additional ₦5 million.
The substantial gift quickly went viral, drawing both celebration and some criticism online. Joke later faced social media reactions after playfully tagging singer Davido in a post, which some misinterpreted as further solicitation. She clarified that the gesture was meant in jest.
Despite the online chatter, Joke remained focused on her long-term plans. In a recent update, she expressed her gratitude to Don Jazzy, noting that the financial boost made her relocation process smoother and more feasible.
Joke has now successfully moved to the UK, attributing this new chapter in her life to the impactful support she received.
