Mercy Johnson Issues Stern Warning to Trolls: "It's No Longer Business as Usual"

Nollywood actress Mercy Johnson-Okojie has sent a strong message to social media trolls and platforms spreading false stories about her and her family, declaring that she will no longer tolerate such behavior.

In an Instagram post on Monday, the star addressed recent events, including her decision to withdraw a defamation lawsuit against a TikToker known as Eedie Bliss, citing respect for those who intervened.

However, Mercy Johnson made it clear that this leniency would not extend to future cases. “It’s no longer going to be business as usual,” she stated, explaining that while she appreciates her fans' support, she will not allow planned disruptions to interfere with her personal and professional plans for the year.

“I have plans later this year for things I have to do online, and having plans to make trouble and court cases is not going to be part of them because some people just won’t leave me and my family alone,” she emphasized.

The actress urged both supporters and critics to respect her privacy and refrain from spreading misinformation, signaling a firmer stance against online harassment in 2026.
