The Senior Pastor of Salvation Ministries, David Ibiyeomie, has proclaimed an end to the political crisis in Rivers State and offered prayers for the state government and Governor Siminalayi Fubara.
Speaking on Thursday during the fourth day of the church’s annual “Glory Reign” program at its headquarters in Port Harcourt, Ibiyeomie stated that the lingering instability in the state has been resolved by divine intervention.
He described the situation as beyond human resolution but affirmed that God has broken the cycle of political conflict and restored peace. The cleric also declared an end to what he called the “curse of succession conflict,” noting that a similar pattern of one-term governorship in the Ijaw region was previously overturned through prayer during former Bayelsa Governor Seriake Dickson’s administration.
Ibiyeomie urged Governor Fubara to remain calm and steadfast, assuring him that divine will prevails over any human opposition.
“I decree peace in Rivers State. It is beyond any human force; therefore, I declare that the storm is over,” he proclaimed.
The declaration was met with loud affirmations from the congregation, as the pastor expressed confidence that stability and peace would henceforth characterize the state.
