Oshiomhole Denies Viral Video, Calls Foot Massage Clip "AI-Generated Fabrication"

Senator Adams Oshiomhole has denied the authenticity of a widely circulated video that appears to show him massaging a woman’s feet aboard a private jet, describing it as a fabrication created using artificial intelligence.

The clip, which surfaced on social media earlier this week, depicts a man resembling the former Edo State governor engaging in conversation with a woman while massaging her feet. The woman was initially misidentified as Lara Fortes, wife of the senator representing Edo North, but was later reported to be Leshaan Dagama, a South African influencer and adult content creator.

The video sparked criticism online, with many Nigerians questioning the senator's conduct amid the country's economic challenges. Some users also referenced Oshiomhole’s recent controversial comment about food prices “becoming too cheap.”

In response, Oshiomhole’s media aide, Oseni Momodu, issued a statement rejecting the video’s authenticity.
“The video is a poorly crafted AI-generated video and does not depict a real event,” the statement read, describing its circulation as cyberbullying and noting that steps were being taken to identify those responsible.

Dagama also addressed the controversy on her Instagram story, redirecting public attention toward the senator.
“Your senator is the problem. Go be mad at him not me,” she wrote.
