Unusual incidents have been reported during the transportation of the remains of late singer Ifunanya Nwangene, popularly known as Nanyah, from Abuja to her hometown in Enugu State.
According to a Facebook post by London-based teacher and culture ambassador Uche Nworah, who claims to be a long-time friend of the singer’s uncle, an ambulance carrying her body broke down along the Abuja Expressway. While awaiting a replacement vehicle, a snake was reportedly discovered underneath the broken-down ambulance and was killed.
Nworah also clarified conflicting reports about the singer’s residence, stating that she lived on the second floor of her apartment building—not the ground floor—raising questions about earlier suggestions that snakes could have entered through drainage systems.
The singer’s family has not publicly confirmed these accounts. The unusual nature of the reported events has sparked discussion online, with many social media users expressing curiosity about the circumstances surrounding her passing.
