Social media activist Verydarkman has expressed surprise after claiming to see a poster featuring Seyi Tinubu, son of Nigerian President Bola Tinubu, during a visit to Morocco.
In a video shared online, Verydarkman stated he encountered the poster in a hotel bar. The poster was reportedly promoting the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) but prominently featured Seyi Tinubu’s image.
Questioning its presence outside Nigeria, Verydarkman suggested it indicated early political campaigning. “Seyi Tinubu, you carry this your campaign serious o… Y’all are really desperate. You dey play football? Wetin your picture dey do for here?” he remarked in the video.
While Verydarkman framed the poster as a political move, some social media users pointed out that Seyi Tinubu is a public figure and his image could be used for advertising purposes unrelated to elections. One comment read, “This is not a political campaign, it’s clearly an advertisement! Seyi Tinubu is as popular as many celebrities.”
The incident has sparked mixed reactions online, highlighting ongoing public scrutiny of the political activities of the Tinubu family.
