Afrobeats superstars Wizkid and Asake have released their much-anticipated new single, "Jogodo," a vibrant fusion of their distinct sounds that serves as the lead track for their first-ever joint EP.
The song, which hit streaming platforms in the early hours of Friday, previews their collaborative project "Real (Vol. 1)," scheduled for full release on January 23, 2026.
A Masterful Blend of Styles
"Jogodo" expertly merges Wizkid's smooth, melodic delivery with Asake's energetic, street-inspired flow. The result is a track that feels both relaxed and dynamic, set to appeal to listeners across different moods and settings—from laid-back lounges to lively dance floors.
Lyrically, the duo alternates verses in Yoruba and Pidgin, celebrating charm and nightlife with a catchy, chant-friendly chorus.

Asake recently shared on Instagram that the "Real (Vol. 1)" EP will contain four tracks, including "Jogodo," "Turbulence," "Iskolodo," and "Alaye."
This collaboration marks a new milestone for both artists, who have previously worked together on standout tracks. Wizkid featured Asake on "Bad Girl" from his 2024 album "Morayo," while Asake enlisted Wizkid for "MMS" on his acclaimed debut "Lungu Boy."
